Welcome to the second iteration of our series Guest List, where we ask artists, bands, and industry folks to share a 10-song playlist, along with a few words about the mix. Everything is fair game, whether it's on-the-road jams, a curated mood soundtrack, or their pre-show mix.

For this installment, we're delighted to have a playlist of homeland bangers from Lauren Mayberry, the Scottish frontwoman for synthpop group CHVRCHES, who will be playing The Fillmore solo on Jan. 29 (CHVRCHES holds a special place in the heart of the Gazetteer SF team: A decade ago, long before we became colleagues, city reporter Eddie Kim and I covered the band's 2015 tour for different publications.)

From Lauren:

The last non-tour road trip I did was a road trip around Scotland and I made myself a very lengthy playlist of some of my favourite songs by Scottish artists. Here are ten of my favourites from that list.

Lauren Mayberry will be performing at The Fillmore on January 29. Tickets are available here. Stream or purchase her latest album, “Vicious Creature.”
